Building a tech company from the ground up and having it succeed is an ambitious goal. Doing that as a female founder and CEO is another beast, entirely. When you stop and look at what it takes to be a successful female founder in tech -- the numbers I mean -- it's enough to ward off women from even trying: 555 tech companies raised a Series B in 2015; however, only 5 percent of those had female founder/CEOs.
